As well as being an expert in my respective field, I am also known as ‘Mr Chutney’ to clients and associates, for my role as National Director at ‘Pathway Group’ and responsibility of running ‘Chutney and Chat’ business networking forum.

Chutney and Chat is an award-winning forum, part of the ‘Pathway Group’ community. Since its debut launch in December 2015, the forum has now become a valuable platform for almost 1000 members; all of whom are business owners and professionals, based nationwide.

My passion lies within supporting the growth of businesses and individuals; and the success of Chutney and Chat is testament to this. As well as hosting networking events, liaising with keynote speakers, and promoting local businesses, i have managed to build a trusted business community. This has facilitated professional introductions, and served as the basis of long-term business relationships.

I have worked in the property industry since 1984 and have been a member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) since 1990 and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1991. I was a qualified dual member of the ISVA and the RICS and sat on the ISVA auctioneering committee for 2 years before the merger of the two organisations. In 2008 I became a Fellow of NAVA (National Association of Valuers & Auctioneers, now called NAVA Propertymark).

After winning the ISVA (Incorporated Society of Valuers & Auctioneers) auctioneering competition in 1992 I have been conducting 5 auction sales per year with varying numbers of lots ranging from 15–40. Due to customer demand a 6th auction was added to the diary. The lots offered for sale are generally a mixture of residential, commercial, investment, development properties and land.
